Next Up: Bird Call Videos, EP & Shows

Dear friends,
I hope this beautiful summer is lifting your spirits! It has been a tremendous ride so far, and we are enjoying all the love that music has to bring us! We finished tracking and mixing for the EP this past week with the amazing and wonderful Joel Hamilton. We have some very talented musicians on board, including music vet Ralph Carney, Luther Russell, Noah Hoffeld, Karen Waltuch and Jason Dimatteo. All joined me in making the record come to life!
So what's next??

I've teamed up with the always amazing Jono Schafekotter. In the next few weeks we will be releasing some Youtube videos of our moments in and out of the studio during production. Please check the Bird Call Youtube Channel for these hilarious and endearing clips in the next few weeks!
EP Release & Shows!
Bird Call's debut EP, The Animals Know, will be digitally released under FHC Records in September 2010. I'll be celebrating with some live shows in New York, Los Angeles, and good ol' San Francisco around the same time. Please stay tuned, and bring all of your friends out to celebrate!
I'm thrilled to be surrounded by talented people. This record is due in great part to the genius mind of producer Joel Hamilton. I could not have had a better experience with anyone else.

Lend Your Smiles

The notion of suicide and relieving your physical self to the greater unknown has been in my thoughts this year, and I do not think I will ever know right from wrong. I'm giving away music that I've created in honor of the great Scott Baker, Mark Linkous, and anyone else who has decided to meet a different reality in these times.
